Elizabeth Donathan, DNP, MS, APRN, FNP-BC, CPT


Welcome & thank you for visiting my website! I believe living a healthy lifestyle begins with maintaining a strong and fit body. This is my passion. My love for health and fitness started when I was very young and I want to share it with you. I understand that maintaining a healthy lifestyle & staying motivated can be incredibly challenging and working out may not always be the highest priority of the day. I want to help you with that. My mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle by providing you resources that will support improved health and wellness. I believe if you want to change your body and improve your health, YOU CAN.

Recognized as a top health professional, I have helped my clients safely and effectively improve their health and get in shape for over 20 years. My academic background includes Doctor of Nursing Practice, Master of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Nursing. As a nurse practitioner, certified personal trainer, and former NPC competitor, I promise to always put your health needs first.

Workout apparel

There are many companies that offer performance workout clothes so it's important to know what you should wear when you workout. Most importantly, gym clothes should not be restrictive. Choosing fabrics that stretch, breathe and wick away moisture will support and actually enhance your workouts. Also, a great pair of gym shoes are very empowering and should not be underestimated. Simply put, if you are feeling uncomfortable in your clothes or shoes, your workouts will suffer.

Setting up a home gym doesn't need to be expensive. Create a small area that gives you enough room to workout. You can add a few items such as a kettlebell, jump rope, resistance bands, and a yoga mat to get started. Your workout should include resistance training, cardiovascular training, and recovery. Include stretching before your workout to warm up and after your workout to help your body recover. Remember to have fun!

After having a baby I was feeling like my health and weight were spiraling out of control. I have always been the type who knows what they need to do as far as diet and exercise but always finds a reason not to do so. I was to a point where I couldn’t look in the mirror anymore and got physically ill getting dressed everyday and getting onto a scale was crippling. Beth talked with me and reassured me I could make this work into my every day life and I could start feeling better inside and out. She passed no judgement about my concerns and was very understanding and tailored my diet and exercise plan according to my health and needs. She cheers you on everyday and is very encouraging and genuinely wants you to succeed. She answers all your questions and offers great guidance. The diet is easy and reasonable and I enjoy it so much. You get to eat good food and plenty of it and I’m often very full and have changed my mindset to looking at food as fuel with her help. The workout is also individualized based on what is best for your body and health and easy to do. I am one week in and I’m down 7lbs and counting. I really feel like my body is thanking me. I wake up feeling good for a change and motivated to take care of myself. I have less joint pain and sleep easier. I use the reds, greens, and whey protein supplements as well as the Stronger joints. Since starting them I am less bloated and have better digestive health.
